There are wide ranges of fonts available and most of these are free, these include designing fonts, handwriting fonts, professional fonts and more. Users require additional fonts for designing banners, pages, pamphlets and other attractive and creative writing.
Adding more fonts to the computer system is easier than most computer users actually think. Windows XP installs around 100+ fonts by default but incase you want to install your favorite fonts then you can do so.
Websites such as 1000freefonts.com provide huge collection of free fonts and can be downloaded easily. These fonts are categorized in different categories and have an image view to know how exactly the font will look.
How to install fonts in your computer system?
Once you have downloaded the fonts, extract them all in a folder then make sure all of these are “.ttf” files which stand for “True Type Fonts”
Go to Desktop >> My Computer >> C:\ Drive >> Windows >> Fonts >>
In the “Fonts Folder” from the Menu, select File >> Install New Fonts
You will get a dialogue box asking for the location from where the fonts are to be installed; this is the location to the folder in which you have extracted all the fonts. Browse to the folder from the dialogue box and Click “Select All” and hit “OK”
The fonts will get installed. Now reload you application / software in which you wanted to access these fonts.
